The microgeodesy is a group of operations, instrumentations and methods used for high precision tasks, but on a reduced scale comparing to geodesy.
The microgeodesy applications contain among others, deformation studies and structure analysis such as bridges, dams, precision alignments, industrial machinery installation and the approval procedure of sports facilities.
It applies in particular in industry segments as varied as pulp and paper, aeronautics, aluminum plants, steel factories, oil companies and the automobile industry.
